The route Jon has mapped out will have him traveling over 6000 miles in 17 days and passing thru at least 17 states with the possibility of hitting a couple other states.

Day 1: Thursday October 4th - Leave Home and travel to Birmingham, AL
Day 2: Friday October 5th - In Birmingham, AL attending Barber Vintage Festival.
Day 3: Saturday October 6th - In Birmingham, AL attending Barber Vintage Festival. From 5pm to 8pm will be at Rails and Ales in Leeds, AL
Day 4: Sunday October 7th - Leave Birmingham, AL and travel to El Dorado, AR.
Day 5: Monday October 8th - Leave El Dorado, AR and travel to Denton, TX.
Day 6: Tuesday October 9th - Leave Denton, TX and travel to Albuquerque, NM.
Day 7: Wednesday October 10th - Leave Albuquerque, NM and travel to Williams, AZ.
Day 8: Thursday October 11th - Leave Williams, AZ and travel to Lone Pine, CA.
Day 9: Friday October 12th - Leave Lone Pine, CA to Walnut Creek, CA.
Day 10: Saturday October 13th - In Walnut Creek, CA.
Day 11: Sunday October 14th - In Walnut Creek, CA.
Day 12: Monday October 15th - Leave Walnut Creek, CA and travel to Salt Lake City, UT.
Day 13: Tuesday October 16th - Leave Salt Lake City, UT and travel to Greenwood Village, CO.
Day 14: Wednesday October 17th - Leave Greenwood Village, CO and travel to Edmond, OK.
Day 15: Thursday October 18th - Leave Edmond, OK and travel to Conway, AR.
Day 16: Friday October 19th - Leave Conway, AR and travel to Nashville, TN.
Day 17: Saturday October 20th - Leave Nashville, TN and travel to HOME.
